I'm always hanging around at clubs 'n gigs up there. Just finished a 3-night stint. Time to go home today though.
Yeah great band. Have the album Neon.. and singles with extra b-sides from the era. I've got a Sun! single also.
I also have a camcorder vid of an acoustic gig they did in a local record store. Great guys from memory. They were also the 1st band that my sun saw at the age of about 3. He loved seeing them at the time, but somewhere along the line his musical tastes changed for the worst.
ya just reminded me again Mr Hunter, talkin of demo's....
Yeah .. im inclined to agree with you all, Silver Sun are a fine band indeed, i listen to the first album a lot, and used to cover the Last day track many years ago. And Mr Hunter was right on the money with " Great version of the Johnny Mahttis / Denise Williams track Too much too little to late.." wicked track .. altho the Rush cover of Xanadu im not into.
Can you post up the link to their website anyone .. Sweeeeeeet
M-Sixx
Their official site seems to have expired.
Used to be http://www.silver-sun.co.uk/ but little point clicking on it as it goes nowhere...
They recently did a reunion gig (what the fuck is the matter with everyone?) at the garage.
Talking of demos Mr Andy, I aint forgot one jot old boy. For some reason I am having trouble putting disc onto PC? It happened before but then went right. Not over-tech minded, me. More inclinde to yell and kick than surf around the MS help desk. Bare with me. It will be worth the wait.
Oh shit yeah, the link no longer works. Weird as it was the other day lol.
The power's off in wales. Someone has give Horlicks to the donkey again.
